It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun.     We went for a late breakfast (about 10:15) on a Friday, and it wasn’t very busy. The food was good, and our order was right. The restaurant was clean. We ate upstairs, outdoors at one of the picnic tables. It was a fun experience. There are stairs indoors and outdoors to get upstairs, and there is also an elevator. There were nice murals and plaques along the walls about the company as well as a statue of its founder on a bench inside the door.

    Still 5 starts because it's good but they forgot my gravey so I had to swing back arnd. All I ordered was French fries and gravy. My options where cold fries and gravy or gravy w no fries after this mess up

    They do not have one single vegetarian option, not even a vegetarian salad. Absolutely everything contains with meat. They said I could have hash browns instead of a meat patty in my burger. Ridiculous - who wants a hash brown burger?

    Had to stop to see the view hear. I would have to say one of the best views for a fast food restaurant. The 2nd story where you can get a good look at the bay.
