  Hospitality was outstanding from the moment we arrived. We were warmly welcomed by Johnny, making us feel like we were in a fine dining restaurant. The owner was friendly, greeted us personally, and even offered us pastries that are not yet on the menu. For the main dishes, I ordered a burger, butter chicken, and the margherita flatbread. Everything was delicious, with well-balanced and precise flavors. Regarding the burger, I would have preferred feta cheese on the side rather than on top, as it was rich and made the sandwich lack some moisture. I would also have preferred beef instead of lamb and the addition of the restaurant’s special burger sauces, but I still enjoyed it very much. The fries were absolutely the best—crispy, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. The staff and owner were very kind and attentive. I would have preferred brighter lighting, slightly improved decor, and insect repellents for more comfort. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience with delicious food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere.

  This was my 1st visit and Ginger Cafe is officially my favorite restaurant. James provided phenomenal service, answered all of our questions, friendly, helped make choices that led to a delicious dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite!!! (My wonderful friends added to our excellent experience!!) Atmospheric music was perfect volume and added to our exceptional experience!!! Could not ask for anything better. When dinner was complete, the price felt perfectly priced!!! Can't wait to go back again!!!

  It’s been a few yrs since I’ve been to Ginger cafe. I went with my friend. It was her first time. She had chicken and I had lamb. She loved it, I loved it. Friendly staff. One of the workers stopped and noticed that I didn’t have any naan so he made it fresh for me. Super soft and delicious. The waitress, Brooke, was amazing! She’s so sweet, pleasant, great attitude, I can tell she enjoys interacting with people and she enjoys her job, too. I’ll definitely be back. 🤩

  Hands down the best halal restaurant in Corpus Christi. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish is perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and generously portioned.

  Our server at Ginger Cafe was Eddie, and I was with a party of 14 people. This restaurant was an extremely excellent experiment for each and every one of us. Eddie took such good care of me and my family, was attentive to detail, and checked on us frequently. The food was amazing, very well prepared and beautifully done. Everyone was so happy, and the workers at the restaurant stayed open late for us without making us feel bad at all. I would come back here in a heartbeat, it was a wonderful way to end the night.
