Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

20 minutes. No matter what time of day or what you order, from 1 sandwhich at 9am to 6 meals at 1am, it's gonna take 20 minutes. It doesn't matter how good the food is, if the management can't properly staff or take up the slack themselves- which is their job- the experience is 1 star at best.

We had the new guy Trenton and his pal Avery take our order. Even though we had to come back because our sandwiches were wrong, the whole establishment was amazing and kind. Especially Ms. Dawn. She helped the boys and never lacked kindness or patience with us or them. We will definitely come back. —Ms. Dawn, thanks for personally fixing our buffalo chicken ranch sandwiches!

I actually work here as a manager. I've been with the company for 5 years. I enjoy being part of our customer's daily lives. From hot coffee in the morning, double meat Whataburgers for lunch to midnight shakes and pies! If you haven't stopped by in awhile come on by and enjoy a taquito or patty melt. Goodness 24/7
