  If you’re in Brownsville and you haven’t been to Palenque Grill yet, let me be the one to tell you: go. I walked in and immediately felt like I was about to have a great meal—service was sharp, professional, and genuinely welcoming from the start. They kicked off the experience with fresh chips and frijoles fritos that had this smooth, rich flavor with what tasted like a touch of chorizo. Not your average “bean dip”—this was comfort food with personality. And then the salsa lineup? Four different flavors that each brought something different to the table: the bold molcajete-style salsa, a smooth avocado salsa, bright pico de gallo, and a red salsa with just the right punch. Honestly, it felt like a whole tasting flight before the meal even started. The chicken fajitas came out sizzling and beautifully plated. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and paired with grilled onions, peppers, fresh guacamole, and a side of white rice that balanced everything out. It looked good, and it tasted even better. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and comfortable—great lighting, great vibe, and you can tell they take pride in every detail, from the presentation to the service. Overall, this was an exceptional dining experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend.

  Finally I was able to go to this place yesterday, I had heard a lot great comments about this new place at Brownsville, So yesterday was my first time going to Palenque Grill I was amazed how the restaurant look the layout very nice place. My waitress ALEJANDRA was very nice very helpful I mention to her it was my first time here, and she recommended me a lot of great plates starters and drinks I’m like wow a lot great food it was hard for me to choose wat to get so I started with a chicharrón de ribeye it was amazing, them she recommended me las Garritas de Leon I was amaze with that name of the plate but wow those tacos where a 10 of a 10. Also she brought me some tostaditas con frijoles super good to wow, and to drink she recommend me some aguas frescas so I got agua de pepino con limón. Over all place and food was great Plus ALEJANDRA was very nice and very helpful and very attentive to check my table if everything was fine. I told her when I come back I will be looking for her so she can be my waitress. Thank you ALEJANDRA and Palenque Grill

  Palenque Grill was an amazing experience from the moment I walked in. The place is beautiful — warm, colorful, and really inviting. Even though I went alone, I felt completely comfortable. The food was incredible: fresh, hot, and definitely cooked to order. Every bite had flavor, and the drinks were just as good. They weren’t too expensive, and there were plenty of alcohol options to choose from. What really stood out was my waitress, Yuliana. She went above and beyond with her service and made me feel genuinely welcomed. She checked on me often, kept everything on point, and made sure I never waited for anything. Her kindness and attention made the whole visit feel even better, like I wasn’t dining alone at all. Overall, Palenque Grill gave me a great solo dining experience amazing food, great drinks, and Yuliana’s outstanding service made it unforgettable . Would definitely come back with mine friends to experience this amazing restaurant with me next time.

  Palenque Grill was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The food came out hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned you could tell everything was made with care and attention. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the timing was perfect nothing felt rushed or delayed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our waitress, Yuliana. She was absolutely outstanding! From the very beginning, she greeted us with a friendly smile and such positive energy that it instantly made us feel comfortable. Her red hair made her easy to spot, and her personality was just as bright. Yuliana went above and beyond the entire time she checked on us often without ever being intrusive, made sure our drinks were always full, and handled everything with such professionalism and kindness. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers the way she does. You can tell she takes pride in her job and really loves what she does. She made our dining experience smooth, enjoyable, and personal. Every small detail from her attentiveness to her polite conversation made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. This was easily one of the best dining experiences my family and I have ever had. We left full, happy, and beyond impressed. Thank you, Yuliana, for your outstanding service and for making our night truly perfect! We’ll definitely be coming back soon and we’ll be asking for you again.

  We had an excellent experience at Palenque Grill Brownsville. From the moment we walked in, the staff made a great impression, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They even held the doors for us on the way in, which you don’t see very often anymore. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Everyone on the team looked sharp, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. The food was absolutely perfect, fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Every dish came out hot and beautifully presented. You could tell there’s real care that goes into both the kitchen and the service side. What really stood out was the personal touch. The manager, or possibly the owner, stopped by our table just to check in and make sure everything was to our liking. That level of attentiveness and pride in customer experience is rare these days, and it really made a difference. We’re business travelers and eat out often, and this visit genuinely impressed us. Excellent service, outstanding food, and a team that clearly values their guests. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town , highly recommend Palenque Grill to anyone looking for quality food and exceptional hospitality!
