Good lord the food is not good here. Idk what yall are doing differently from the south Lamar location but this isn’t cutting it. Bland, expensive, and overall not very appetizing.
Pretty telling that I’m not the only one unimpressed- the rating for this place is in the toilet compared to the original location.

First time here and I love it. I ordered chicken karaage and char siu pork belly. Both are so delicious, perfectly well seasoned and crispy enough. I would love to come back to try other dishes on the menu.

The food here is exceptional, and the staff are incredibly friendly and kind. Truly worth the visit! The pulled pork tostadas were full of flavor with great portion sizes. The chicken appetizer was outstanding, and the crispy potatoes were delicious.

The food is good, but overpriced. They obviously think a lot of it. It's a self-serve restaurant, so you need to go to the cashier to order anything, which disrupts any conversation you may be having with people at the table. The atmosphere is rather an upgraded high school cafeteria with the same uncomfortable seats. Not going back.

I had a really disappointing experience here, especially compared to the other location in town. A server accidentally spilled an entire plate of chicken wings on me. It got all over my pants, shoes, and backpack. Accidents happen, but what made it so much worse was the lack of any real response. The waiter just handed me a few napkins and walked off without asking if I needed help cleaning up or offering anything to make it right.
Then, when I went to pay (still smelling like a walking buffalo wing), another staff member decided the guy behind me deserved to go first. At this point I wasn’t sure if I was invisible or if they were just avoiding the human hot wing. Could go either way. After everything that had already happened, the lack of basic courtesy was honestly shocking.
Overall, this location feels like a completely different experience from the other one in town, and not in a good way. Bring a poncho if you’ll be visiting.
