Gloria’s® Latin Cuisine is an authentic Salvadoran and Tex-Mex restaurant founded in Dallas, Texas in 1986 by Gloria and Jose Fuentes. For nearly 40 years, the Fuentes family has been sharing the flavors they were raised on, from their abuela’s kitchen in El Salvador to your table in Texas. What began as a small family restaurant has grown into a beloved Texas institution, now with 23 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. At Gloria’s, every dish carries a story of tradition, love and the taste of home. The lady on the phone told me the price. I asked for reassurance about the dish because we wanted the beef for both and not the combo. She stated it would still be $29. Upon picking up our order, I noticed I was over charged. I asked the guy from pick up why I was being charged more than what I was told? He said that it’s more for double beef. I completely understand charging extra for the beef BUT that’s not what I was told over the phone, especially after being reassured. I spoke with the manager and all he could do is apologize and just state that he would speak to his team about them knowing the pricing. Didn’t offer any kind of incentive or any kind of meal comp. Not even giving me the meal for what I WAS TOLD IT WAS GOING TO COST. As a nice restaurant that has a 4.5 star rating, this was absolutely unprofessional and disappointing. make sure when a customer is asking about pricing for things over the phone that you give the right price.
