Angie was our server/menu tour guide. She is such a positive and friendly woman. She helped us pick a couple of dishes to share and get the full experience! The food was hot and delicious. Even if you are not familiar with African cuisine, you should stop by and let Angie make you a fantastic meal!

LET ME TELL YOU! The chicken/beef/fish Egusi with the fufu is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I named all three because I’ve had all three. The chicken may be my favorite. I went in there today and it’s my third time in there and I love the atmosphere and I love how welcoming it feels when you walk in. Angie is absolute beautiful person inside and out she’s always smiling and she appreciates her customers. I travel approximately 50 minutes just to come over here and support her mainly because of the atmosphere. I love the food but it just feels like home. The food just makes it that much more better.♥️♥️♥️

A Culinary Masterpiece: Angie Winners Kitchen is a True Winner! From the moment we walked in, the experience at Angie Winners Kitchen was warm and welcoming, perfectly setting the stage for the incredible meal that followed. This is, without a doubt, some of the best and most authentic African cuisine I have ever had. I am confidently giving it a full five stars because every dish we tried showcased passion, expertise, and a masterful touch with traditional West African flavors. If you are looking for fresh, perfectly executed, and truly memorable food, this is the place. The mains were the absolute highlight of the meal. The Jollof Rice and Beef was a phenomenal combination. The Jollof itself was deeply infused with tomato and spices, giving it that beautiful smoky, signature flavor that is often missed elsewhere. It was cooked perfectly, with each grain separate yet tender. The accompanying beef was incredibly tender and juicy—clearly marinated before being cooked down until it practically melted in my mouth. We also enjoyed the Gobe Beans, which were prepared flawlessly. They were rich, hearty, and perfectly seasoned, providing a wonderful, earthy counterpoint to the spice and richness of the Jollof. But what truly elevated the meal were the sides and appetizers, which sent the experience out of this world. The fried plantains were absolute perfection: gorgeously ripe, caramelized on the outside, and soft and sweet on the inside—they are an absolute, non-negotiable must-try! And I still can't stop thinking about the savory delight of the Meat Pie. Its golden pastry crust was incredibly light and flaky, giving way to a robust, savory filling that was spiced just right. It’s the kind of comfort food you dream about. Every item served was fresh, hot, and prepared with incredible care. The quality here is exceptional, the service is friendly, and it’s clear why they call themselves 'Winners Kitchen.' I will absolutely be back soon to explore the rest of the menu. Do yourself a favor and visit—you won’t regret it!

I ordered the Egusi Soup w/goat meats and fufu. I will say the staff are very kind and friendly! As far as the food, I'd say it was "okay". Now, this was my first time trying this dish. I think I had better expectations tbh, with all the hype. The flavor was good but, the Egusi was not at all soupy. All that was in the bowl was mush and goat. The goat had a good flavor, just not the same as at a Jamaican spot (sorry). And is there pork in this? Because I could smell pig and it was just a bit off putting for me personally. Overall this wasn't "bad" but, I can't say I'd order again. I even had leftovers I never finished. I'd like to enjoy this as a soupy dish with more liquid so I can slurp up the food. I'd try it again if it was like that.
