Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MLMattie Lynch3 days ago1.0Absolutely horrible service! Watched the works dance and laughed in the lobby while 20+ cars are waiting for food. Locked the lobby at 11. Workers inside yelled from inside while laughing telling me to call the restaurant, and then didn’t answer the phone. I placed a pick up order that was ready. Sitting on the counter, and they continue to refuse to give me my food I already paid for!!! NEW MANAGEMENT NEED!
- CPCindy PaquetMar 13, 20262.0The burgers are ALWAYS cold!! Why??? I ordered 3 combo meals and I had to pull forward and wait 20 minutes because they said I had such a large order, lol. Get someone in there that can keep burgers cooked and hot so the food is hot and wait time is down!!! But the wait time at whataburger is their creed but it doesn’t mean people like it. And the milkshakes suck!

However it took them well over an hour and I eventually was fed up and went in and asked him nicely he had me food just sitting on the counter not bringing it out. It was missing my shake so I waited another 20 minutes for that and then got home and the food was cold. I get being busy but and hour and a half for fast food is insane.

Then the lady on the intercom was rude and kept asking anything else?? Went around 11 pm which would beat the drunk hour and still took forever. The food was cold and hard. I love whataburger but man…. It’s crazy how long it takes.
