Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Everytime we come to this whataburger the wait is really long. Today we went around 1pm and the food isn’t fresh, the fries had an old taste to them and my burger had pink in the middle. My son needed to use the bathroom and when we were trying to get the code for the door, the girl at the front was on her phone and wasn’t paying attention to give us the bathroom code.

I can tell that they didn’t wanna be there. That was the atmosphere and they don’t wanna be there. Second gentleman that is working. Fry station has gloves on touching the speaker system also working the speaker system and going to the back and getting drinks. I don’t know if he changed his glove between the drinks, but I hope he did Cause he’s drinking with the gloves on so I’m just making sure that he changed his gloves before he touched my french fries but it doesn’t matter cause all he’s doing is touching the speaker system.

The person taking the order did not hear me correctly over the intercom and did not repeat my order to confirm. I ordered two meals. I get handed one drink and informed the window employee I have two drinks. She tells me I only ordered one meal and a number 2 sandwich only. The manger then returns to the window to inform me she heard everything and the order was correct but will need to charge me again for the fries and drink. So now the customer is made to be wrong, whatever happened to the customer is always right. I know what I told them over the intercom and yet they want to lie to justify charging you for their mistake. I don’t care if I had to pay another 6 dollars for my food, just don’t blame the customer for your mistakes. Then after all this I had to ask for napkins and ketchup because there was none in the bag. Food was also cold and fell below what we usually get from whataburger. Never ever will this place get my business and I plan to warn all my family and friends to stay clear of this location.
