⭐ Food: 5/5 Outstanding food quality and presentation — the chefs are excellent! Definitely worth the $125 for 17 courses. 🍸 Drinks: 3/5 Nothing special and quite overpriced. The prices listed on the menu don’t include liquor tax, so a $20 drink actually comes out closer to $25. Also, shame on you for charging $16 for a small bottle of sparkling water — that’s excessive, even by fine dining standards. Overall, a great dining experience for the food and service, but the drink pricing could use some reconsideration.

10 out of 10! We had an amazing experience at Sushi by Bou last night! We stumbled on this omakase restaurant as we were staying at the Dream hotel. I would put the freshness of the fish, presentation and service up there with omakase spots in NYC and Orange County. Our chef was very knowledgeable and entertaining and the vibe was perfect. The flavors the chefs combined left us eager for the next round! Will DEFINITELY be back!

We recently dined here for the Omakase course, which cost $675 for two people. While the food was decent, the experience was marred by service issues. We were double-charged for all of our drinks, totaling over $50. The server was unable to issue a refund and promised a follow-up, which we are still awaiting. Adding to the frustration, the $16 coconut ice cream for the birthday celebration was exceptionally poor. Most restaurant would offer birthday dessert for free!? Skip the caviar bomb kit—it's not worth the price. Finally, we observed one of the chefs drop a piece of salmon while preparing a hand roll as he was rolling and walking to our seating.

Really disappointed. Had the upgraded omakase dinner. Quality of fish and wagyu etc was good HOWEVER, the portion size of proteins was tiny, the sushi rice was cooked incorrectly and the balance of flavors were off. The chefs used Japanese ingredients but did not know how to utilize them correctly. Miso- you could not taste; some pieces were overly soy sauced, no dashi flavor, and too garlicky in some instances. It did not taste Japanese at all. Super disappointed as the ingredients were good quality but handled by inexperienced chefs. In addition, even before I could properly sit down and order a drink they started serving the courses. Felt super rushed. Love enjoying a drink with my meal but sadly they also ran out of the alcoholic beverage I wanted.. Disappointing. They brought the check even before the last course was delivered. 17 courses finished in record time. It seemed like the chefs and wait staff wanted to go home super quickly. Not really fine dining but paid a premium price. I’ve been to many omakase dinners in NYC and North Jersey so I’m very familiar with it. Sadly this was a bad experience.

Been here twice for their omakase and it was fantastic, but I had a very disappointing experience when I tried to go again recently. Two friends and I booked the 12 course omakase at 9:30 for 10:00pm, which is last minute, but my boyfriend and I did that before recently for an even later time and had an amazing time without problem….this time though, we walked in at 9:55 and were greeted by the man behind the sushi bar who told us “they’d check us in” in the back. We went back, and stood there for a second surrounded by staff who were on their phones and glanced at us without saying anything. I finally said “we’re here for the 10pm omakase”, to which the (I’m assuming) manager looked up from her phone at us and said “oh we closed reservations online at 7:30”…she was very rude, did not apologize, and treated us like we were idiots. She went back to being on her phone and we left very disappointed. We would have understood as it was a very last minute reservation, but their lack of friendliness was a massive turn-off. I’ll still go back, but this experience made me much less eager to. Edit: thank you for the response! It was Monday 10/6, reservation under Michael for 10:00pm.
