The prices are higher than your grocery store cuts but the quality every time I’ve visited has been great and was a major reason for me validating the cost for special occasions. My first two visits were wonderful and the person at the counter (2 different people) were knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, my most recent visit a few weeks back left a sour taste in my mouth. The man that helped me wasn’t unkind, persee, but he was not friendly. I asked for specifically 1 pound of beef because that is all that was needed for my recipe, and also purchased a few cuts of salmon. When I went to check out I was surprised that the price was higher than the quick math I did in my head. Embarrassed, and thinking I must have just done my math wrong, I left. When I got to my car, and looked at my packages, I realized he had lazily given me 1.6 pounds of beef which accounted for the overage. To me, part of the benefit of shopping from a butcher and the service you are paying for, is being able to specify the amount of meat you are wanting. I can understand the requested amount being slightly over the requested amount I asked for, but overly half a pound more is either laziness at best or price gouging at worst. Either way, not sure I’ll be back in this economy. Every cent counts.

- JMJunior ManierOct 17, 20255.0Me and my son stopped by last week and got three beautiful New York strip seasoned in Montreal steak seasoning And I got 2 pounds of ground beef! The steaks on charcoal turned out to be some of the best steaks we’ve ever had of course my Grilling had a little something to do with it lol But honestly, they were top-notch superior very very good grade steaks! And as for the ground beef, they made some of the juiciest most tender burgers I’ve ever had. They were exceptionally delicious! Will definitely be coming back and getting more and trying everything they have!
