    Pete’s is a relaxed, homey spot that feels welcoming the moment you walk in. The breakfast portions are huge, and I mean unexpectedly huge. We ordered the chocolate chip pancakes, and they were massive but still tasted great. Adding butter on top made them even better. The eggs were flavorful, and the sausage was solid as well. Overall, it’s warm, filling comfort food, and definitely worth a stop. I’ll be back for sure.

    I’ve passed by this little diner so many times when I go downtown. I’ve always wanted to try it! I finally got the chance on a Monday morning around 10:30am. The utk students are still away on break so it wasn’t busy at all! We were allowed to choose our seating, but greeted promptly by our waitress. She was so sweet, and had a great southern charm. Our food came out quick and was hot and delicious. I ordered the southern breakfast, and it was just what I needed after a morning hike! I’m so glad a gem like this place is around:)

    Food was cold , waiter rude and prejudice. New owner don’t care about their customers. Wasn’t ask for refill and when told the supposedly manager the waiter was mouthing back saying I was lying. So unprofessional and not worth your money . Scramble Jake would never

    Pete’s is a Knoxville classic. It’s a great place for a quintessential American breakfast but be warned, service can be a bit slow. You seat yourself, so be prepared to stand your ground against other diners on busy days. Prices are a bit steep, but you’re paying for a fantastic atmosphere and tradition. Breakfast is stellar, always. The lunch menu is hit or miss.
