845 am, wanted a coffee. Pulled up to the drive through and ordered said coffee. All good at this point. Then it went downhill. Pull up to the “Pay Here” window.. wait….wait.. then there’s a lady with a shocked look on her face through the window then disappears .. then the person behind me honks to tell me to move up to the “pickup here” window.. seemingly aware of how bad this drive through is. Pull up to the “pickup here” window and the girl slams open the window, has me tap my card, and gives me my coffee.. no smile or thanks or anything.. to the first person behind the window WHY NOT TELL ME TO MOVE TO THE PICKUP HERE WINDOW .. or put up a sign. Anything?instead of this shocked look on your face and run away only to have the poor sap behind me have to honk and get me to move.. this is prime breakfast time not 2am post club drunken foolery.. glad I’m from Saskatoon so I have multiple mcdinks to choose from l, and not this travesty of customer experience.

I wasn't surprised by the 2.6 rating. If you listen to this advice, you could improve your rating significantly. First, give customers their total AT the order screen so they can accurately pull out cash if needed. Let them know BEFORE they order if there is a wait on food. People go through drive thru because they are in a hurry. If you can't do that, then you need a better supervisor who is invested in their job. Second, you need the Canadian decency to be polite and personable at the window. We are human beings. We are expecting to be acknowledged and spoken to. Finally, if no one is behind me, and you havent told me I have to wait for a VERY long time for my food, I should not have to move forward so YOU can have good drive thru times. And when you finally bring the food, you should be saying "sorry for fhr wait, have a nice day." That is the decent way to run a business. I shouldn't have to tell you how to have manners or do your job. This is all very basic stuff. You are not invested in your jobs and I understand that. It's fast food. But don't you want to be good at what you do? Don't you want to be the highlight in someone's day instead of making them feel like they don't matter?
