This review is entirely about the manager, Mounir, whose behavior was disgraceful and completely unacceptable.
After canceling an order due to dietary restrictions, my McDonald’s rewards points were taken and never refunded. I was told to speak with Mounir, who immediately showed how unfit he is to be a manager. Mounir laughed while speaking to me, acted smug and condescending, and confidently claimed the points would return in 2–3 days. I explained that in previous situations the points returned immediately and that I don’t live nearby, meaning I would have to come back if he was wrong. Mounir continued laughing and guaranteed the points would be returned.
They were not.
One full week later, I returned to confront Mounir with the fact that his guarantee was false. Instead of taking responsibility, Mounir blamed me and said that I should have known better and canceled the order myself. That is an absurd excuse. I am a customer, not an employee, and it is not my job to understand McDonald’s internal systems—especially after being given incorrect information by Mounir himself.
Mounir demonstrated zero accountability, zero professionalism, and zero management skills. Laughing at customers, giving false assurances, and then shifting blame when proven wrong is unacceptable behavior for anyone, let alone a manager. Mounir should not be in a leadership position, and this location clearly suffers because of it.
I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others avoid dealing with Mounir if they expect basic respect or competence.

Food. It’s McDonald’s. Most of their food is fake food and the only thing safe to eat is an egg McMuffin without any meat. It’s ok and dos the job in a pinch.
Service. Not very swift I would say. Cashier got very confused with an order and gave me twice of an item and when I approached her to inform her of her error she denied and argued, and after I recanted the order she agreed and said wait, I’ll get the manager, who never came to deal with the refunded error. Poor management, poor training, no attention to detail, poor listening, and not customer centric.
Atmosphere. Reasonably clean but a very poor layout that lacks any personality or a sense of comfort.
This was a location that was convenient so I tried it. My two sandwiches were poorly assembled and wrapped rapidly and without concern as when I opened the two sandwiches up, both had half the cheese off the sandwich and stuck to the paper, the English muffin was not adequately aligned or properly covering the sandwich. It’s a super brainless task to do this, so it’s not for lack of intelligence, it’s sheer laziness and zero attention to detail and no concern for the customer. Any other brand would live a slow death, but because it’s McDonalds the standards can be reduced.
Watch the reply from the company, this will be lacking genuine accountability, written generically to placate me and the reader, and without any repercussion to the staff of this morning of December 14, 2025 at app 8:30 am. The response will simply be to show readers that “they do care”, and they apologize, that this is not their standard, this is a one off, or please invest more of your precious time to “contact us” to discuss further. Like that would even make a difference.
I loath when a store owner or chain gas lights, and McDonald’s did this with brilliance as they have done so many times before. Like when the CSL road location filled up the soft serve cup halfway, which head office agreed was wrong and against policy but did nothing. Or the same location did the same BS when I bought an ice cream cone and it was half the size. The only store worth your time is the Decarie Blvd store near the Orange Julep.
No return to the location.

Mardi 2 décembre. Le gérant m'accuse devant publique d'avoir volé de la liqueut en l'ayant diluée avec l'eau.
Cest très grave de salir ma réputation ainsi!
Jai prix de l'eau gazéifiée.
Je lui ai expliqué ça et il a repris l'eau pour le jeter ! C'est ingrat de ne pas offrir l'eau puisque il y en a dans la fontaine. Je lui ai même proposé de payer l'eau, le verre et la paille. Ce avant qu'il me retirer le verre en m'accusant à totd devant témoins.
Bel humiliation ! Bravo vous avez dû caractère Monsieur le gérant qui ne connaît pas ses propre produits
