It's a Primanti's. The waitress was knowledgeable and the service was fairly fast for as packed as they were. Several people checked to see if we needed anything. The fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer so they were gluten free and they have a gluten free bun which was pretty good too.

The place was packed, pretty sure understaffed too. It took awhile to get drink refills & the forgot to bring us our appetizer. They did take it off the bill & apologized.

We wanted to show friends from out of state Pittsburgh. Where better than Primanti? It was near the hotel and they arrived in the evening. After we ate we sat at our table and talked for hours. The wait staff acted as if this was normal and they did not mind. It was very nice to not be hurried. For that reason I would give it six stars if that were an option.

Our high school hockey team was visiting from Chicago and we needed a place to have a team lunch. We did a package deal in the patio room and it was amazing. Everyone was thrilled with it and we were glad to be able to experience the local legendary sandwiches while in town. Lisa our server, was amazing. Thank you!
