- LPLaura ParisoNov 12, 20254.0I tried their Omakase in a group setting, we had a private room and shared plates, so it was a bit different from the smaller group experience. I believe they take reservations for Omakase only. You can also order from their regular à la carte menu as well. Out of all the dishes, the most memorable ones for me were the fish liver since it’s not a common ingredient, and the mini squids, both of which were delicious. Other than those, I think most of what we had are also available on the regular menu. The chef also came out to prepare hand rolls for us in person, making sure the seaweed stay ed crisp and fresh as we ate.

They made sushi topped with sirloin work incredibly, they made a Japanese inspired long island iced tea taste dangerously amazing, and the steak... Oh my God. It was by far one of the best porterhouse steaks I've ever had. The fat was rendered so well that it was meat butter, and the actual steak was so juicy and complex with the koji dry age, that I would have happily suffered from how full I would've been from finishing it all if a to go box wasn't an option. I'm only visiting Philly, but I'll happily come again my next time around.

Not only is the food phenomenal, with fresh flavors and a variety of tasty options to choose from, but this isn’t even the best part. The attention and care that Alex showed us is tremendous. Not only was he thoughtful throughout the service but he made good recommendations on something somebody who might not like sushi should try to change their mind. Alex is 5/5 and I can’t wait to come back again.
