- RRRyan2 days ago3.0This is an okay place for a coffee and for work. The coffee can be very good, but a disconnect between the cashier and the barista often leads to imperfect coffee specifications. When the place is quiet, it is an excellent place to work because there is plenty of seating and outlets. However, there are many non-paying customers at any given point that come in off the street and and take up tables/chairs for hours without making any purchases. When the place is packed and there is no where to sit, it becomes frustrating that the employees do not do enough to police these campers for the sake of their paying customers.

- MKMi-hee KimDec 2, 20251.0I opened a Capital One bank account using my correct Social Security information, and the account was approved with no issue. Later, Capital One suddenly restricted my account because the name on my driver’s license is different from the name the IRS has on file for my Social Security number. Even after I provided government-issued proof of U.S. citizenship and my social information. Now Capital One asked me to change my account name to my old legal name — the outdated name on my current ID — which would have caused me illegal actions with the IRS. Their customer service stuff absolutely doesn’t understand what the issue is. Right now, my money is restricted even though my identity is legitimate, and this issue should have been detected before the account was ever approved. Capital One had proved the worst banking experience.

How do I bank at a Capital One Café?
Capital One Cafés offer a modernized, friendly approach to banking that provides a low pressure way to get support. While we don’t have traditional bank tellers in our Cafés, customers can use our self-service options to get everyday banking done., even on the weekend. Ambassadors are on hand to assist you along the way with your banking questions, and can even help you apply for an account. Capital One Checking account holders can use Café ATMs fee-free to check their balance, deposit or withdraw cash, make credit card payments and more. Come in for everyday banking–stay to enjoy a handcrafted beverage. You can also:
- Replace, reissue or activate your debit card
- Lock and unlock your debit card
- Change your debit card PIN
- Receive sign-in support
- Update account information like your address, phone number and email address
- Place or remove a stop payment on a check or ACH

Account holders (18+) can reserve a nook—a private workspace with tables and outlets—when they’re in the Café or from their Capital One mobile app. When in the Café, visitors can scan the QR code on the door of the nook to access the reservation portal to complete their booking. As of December 2024, account holders can make reservations in the Capital One mobile app by searching for their preferred Café, viewing the details of that Café and selecting "Reserve a Nook" to access the reservation portal.
