$59.00 is what I paid via the McDonald's app.
The McDonald's i went to is on 7277 Saltsburg road, Penn Hills PA.
I pulled into the crub side spot, text my number 2 slot back in the app as instructed And per app. My food was being prepared. 20 mins later, I decided to go into store, doors were locked. I decided to try the drive thur, because customers were still getting served. Again I wait in a long line, i get to the intercom and I am told to drive around. I wait in line again.
I finally get to pick up window and tell them I have waiting for my food via the moble app. What is going on... Immediately the person at window says Don't you yell at me?? She is up in a drive thur window, i am down in a vehicle, its loud so i have to talk louder. Also I was stern. I say, I am not yelling at you, i am trying to tell you what going on. She runs away from the window, another mature female, like my self, comes quickly towards my window, great i think but before I can say anything, totally catching me off guard, she says don't yell at my employees, I said I was not yelling, she said yes you were I heard you. Bear in mind most McDonald's have video of all transactions, i know this as a retired police detective so, can someone higher up than this manager, review the video.
I have my grandson in the car with me and he's looking at me confused and says you were not yelling grandma? He knows When i yell everyone would no. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!
I could not get a word in to even explain. So since I have wasted 30 minutes of my life and the food is paid for i finally said stop talking and listen, to me! I told her above story, from A to Z. The manager then said we don't have enough people so nobody is walking your order out too you,hum, that not what the App said. I do not have psychic abilities, but this explained the looked doors. I asked how was i to know this, she said we don't have any moble orders, i give her my number which i was trying to explain. she then walked over and there and amazingly there was my large order. The bag is sealed up so I asked her was my food cold, she said no.
As we drove, a little up the road my grandson open the bag and you guessed it all the food was cold and dried out. Simple ridiculous! I took a few photos but i am contacting McDonald's corporate office i can not be the only customer this happened to. I seek a full refund of my money. I usually go to the manager of the store, but in this case, she was is part of the problem.
I understand employees are hard to keep these days, but it shouldn't be taken out on the customer either. Communication with the App, store and me the customer needs to be better
