About

RestaurantBarSports Bar
PJs is the neighborhood sports pub that just does it better. As in more TVs, so every seat has a front-row view of the next big play. The best jumbo wings in town. A bigger, better, local-er beer lineup. And a team that brings it all together with a smile. And that's just the start. See, we’ve been raising the bar since 1983, so it doesn’t matter if it’s your first time in or your fiftieth. No matter who you are, our goal is to make you feel like part of the PJs family from the moment you walk through the door. So whether you’re just stopping by for a quick drink, ordering up your third round of wings at Wing Nite, or staying late to cheer on your favorite team, you can guarantee good times are always on tap.

Food was okay, got a burger that was over cooked as well as my bacon but still tasted okay. Service from the bartender and the time to get said food were great. We went around 1pm so wasnt super busy or anything, so kinda bummed the food didnt come out right. Overall it was okay wouldnt go out of my way to eat there again but would be fine to go if someone else suggested it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. Normally chain resturants are a let down, and then the bar food menu didn't encourage me, but my prejudices were wrong. I got loaded tator tots and a cheese steak. The bread was really great for the cheese steak, and the tots came out with the tops well integrated. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it for friends who a quick casual meal. I was in a party of 14 and everyone really enjoyed the food and a number of us are food snobs, myself included.

We went to PJ Whelihan's in Oaks today for a late lunch around 3:30p. We were seated in the back area with the tall tables. Our waitress greeted us and gave us some time to look over the menu. Once we provided our order, we hardly saw our waitress again. She never came by to check on us. I had to flag her down for knife and then the next time we saw her, it was to give us our check. I asked for a box and stated we wanted dessert to go. All the dessert options came with ice cream and we were told that everything would be packed up separately. So while we are waiting for our desserts, a party is being set up in the back area so I am feeling rushed at this point and we waited about 15-20 minutes to get our desserts. So, once we get everything and get home (it was about a 45 minute drive because we don't live close to this location), we are unpacking the food and saw that two of the desserts were packed with the ice cream. The cookie/brownies were warm so by the time we got home, the desserts were soup. The few times I have gone to this location have been great but I am not happy with my visit this time around.
