- ABandrew brillNov 11, 20255.0We went for my father in laws birthday. We all had clams w butter for an app. They were excellent. I could have eaten 6 dozen. My father in law got the Manhattan clam chowder, he said it was great. All of us besides the birthday boy got the lobster special. It was a 7 oz tail stuffed w crab meat. Came with with 2 sides. I choose a side salad (+2) and the twice baked potato. This wasn't my first time here so I knew the side salad was tiny before ordering it, but it's great!!! I think the radish makes it. Ive had the apple sauce before too, very good. Birthday boy had the fried shrimp, fish, scallops, and hushpuppies w fries. Hes hard to impress but he said it was very very good! For dessert we had the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and apple pie ala mode. Both were great. Oh, our daughter had the chicken salad off of the bar menu! She had enough food for 3 days!!!! Great salad. All in all, great place, great people, great atmosphere. Zero complaints.
