Established in 2003. Craig Mosmen and Mike Cassano decided to open their first restaurant in 2003 shortly after graduating from The University of Delaware as close friends. Craig and Mike have focused primarily on providing their customers with a fresh and superior product. On one side of the menu, they offer a thin-crust New York style pizza, combined with top quality tomato products and a sharp farmers cheese. On the other side of the menu, they concentrate on offering a large variety of customizable salads and sandwiches, all made to order with a unique variety of freshly prepared toppings and homemade dressings. By limiting the menu they can put added effort into the endless goal of perfection.

Gluten-Free Margarita Pizza: The crust was impressive and held up perfectly. Couch Club Sandwich: Massive, satisfying, and delicious. The Service What really made our visit special was the service. Mac (they/them) took such great care of us. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place where the service is just as good as the food, but Mac nailed it! The Verdict Between the inclusive menu, the cozy atmosphere, and the top-tier service from Mac, Tomato Shack is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be regulars
