When it was time to pay, Ane came out from the back and announced—in front of my date and the entire dining room—that she remembered me because I “didn’t tip last time.” That is completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. The visit she was referring to was paid with a gift card, and it took them over 20 minutes just to bring the bill. Regardless, publicly calling out a customer’s tipping history is inappropriate under any circumstance. This is apparently how they treat customers who purchase $250 in gift cards and continue to support their business—by attempting to embarrass them on a holiday, no less. If there was an issue, it should have been handled privately or not at all. Instead, it was handled in the most unprofessional way possible. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes this seriously
