I love this place. The breakfast bagels are so good. The food across the board is really good. The Reuben can seem a bit greasy on occasion. I think that might be from toasting the bread with butter. But, it will be the best vegan Reuben you’ve had. By the way, this place is vegan. They even have gluten free options. The customer service is always great. They are so friendly. They can get busy. It’s a small space and can get a bit overloaded with the smell of the cooked food. You might walk out smelling like it, as the ventilation doesn’t seem great. Take out is your best bet. Overall I Love this place. Go. Eat. Enjoy.

The only issue with this food is that it’s too delicious. If I could afford to eat it for every meal, I might! Bonus points for carrying Liquid Death water and tea as well.

Ben & Esther's is SO GOOD. Probably the best vegan bagel sandwich situation I've ever had - I got the steak, egg, and mushroom sandwich with veggie cream cheese. The latkes and knishes were also top-notch. I don't live in Portland, but now I know I'm gonna have to make a Ben & Esther's stop any trip I make to Portland in the future!
