Our server Rex was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect... lots of Peruvian inspired decor. However, our portion of anticucho de corazon was extremely small (2 small skewers), and the yucca and picarones was not authentic. On the bright side, my tallerines green spaghetti and pork dish was delicious.

Two of us visited during their Happy Hour. The food was incredible. We got the scallops, chicken skewer, both empanadas and 2 orders of the char siu short rib. Everything was so delicious. I'd recommend this restaurant 100 times over. The dining room is beautiful. The service was excellent.

My wife and I make Andina our go-to spot for celebrations, and it never disappoints. The food is absolutely incredible. Every dish showcases authentic Peruvian flavors with beautiful presentation. The wine selection perfectly complements the menu, and the staff always helps us find the ideal pairing. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between special occasion elegance and warm hospitality. Whether we're celebrating an anniversary, promotion, or just want an exceptional meal, Andina delivers every single time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Portland.

RIP-OFF ALERT!!!! While I am sure the good reviews are legit? We had a much different experience on New Years Eve, and I am sure there are many other customers who feel the same way. On NYE, they offered a $125pp prix fixe menu only. No problem, have enjoyed those many times. The rip-off was....what you received for your hard earned money, other than a beautiful atmosphere, great live music, and A FEW NIBBLES of mediocre food-AT BEST.
My Miniature selections-
1st course-2 grape sized turnips on a wooden skewer.
2nd course-Some sort of cold chicken salad molded into the shape of a junior hockey puck.
3rd course-Ox tail w/ scalloped potatoes. You received 1 Ox tail it was the size of a tennis ball, mostly bone with maybe 5 bites of actual meat. Our table ordered 4 of these, they were all the same. My poor nephew (20 years old) was left hungry after eating his tid-bits.
Oh wait...they were SO GENEROUS to offer us a dessert, inclusive of the prix fixe. If you love meringue, then you're in luck, especially if you like it petrified so much that you can barely cut it with a knife and with a taste of douglas fir tree bark filled with over sweet pinapple compote. YUM! I can't even believe they were bold enough to serve this to people!
Other highlights?-My sister ordered the fish that was offered for the 3rd course. She said it had soooooo much garlic that she could only eat a few bites. I know what you may be thinking-"oh she can't handle garlic"....we are Greek and Arabic, garlic is what we do.
If the server had ever come back to ask if we would like another drink or if our meal was good, I might have let him know that it was A TOTAL RIP OFF AND I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN ANDINA AGAIN!!!!
$$$-2(of 6 total) PEOPLE, INCLUDING TIP(2-PRIX FIXE, 1 MARTINI, 1 BEER)=325$. We went home hungry. (FYI- we are not HEAVY eaters).
Should have gone to Ringside, ElGaucho or any other Legitimate restaurants in downtown Portland!
