We ate our anniversary dinner here! This was my second time trying Peruvian food and I was delighted with whatever I ate. The empanadas, the whipped beans starter served with bread was delicious! The menu describes everything nicely and our server Claire was also very helpful!

The atmosphere, ambiance, and wait staff were amazing. I get it with hyperinflation but $36.00 for half a chicken is a little much. The prices make it difficult for foreigners like me to justify returning due to the high prices. I feel there are a lot more affordable options in the Portland metro area where you can feel the above without braking the bank. Main course, one drink, and tip cost over $50.00. The other thing that was confusing was they told us that our party of 11 could only have the check split upto four ways. If you looked out our two tables pushed together, my question is why couldn't they split the table's checks as if they were two different settings and then let us split the check four ways for each table? I think that would have been more accommodating.

This was our first time eating here. We came for brunch and made the right decision picking Andina. From stepping in the front door the decor and ambiance was warm and inviting. My boyfriend had never had Peruvian food before, he is from Arizona, so he didn't know what to expect. We were greeted and sat right away at a booth by the windows is very nice and very comfortable. Looking at the menu we wanted to order more than we could eat and had a hard time deciding what we wanted more than others. To start with, the Peruvian coffee was full bodied and absolutely delicious! We chose Smoked Salmon Mash , Empanadas, Kiwicha Pancakes w/bacon and ended with the Pastelitos Peruanos. The plating was beautiful. I tried to get pictures before my boyfriend dive in but that didn't happen. The hash and empanadas were an explosion of flavor, perfectly cooked, and you just savor the flavor with every bite. The pancakes, the syrup was incredible and balanced out with the blue berries. The pastry plate was sooo good with the coffee and the cream and lemon curd were tasty and lots of flavor. We also had a special, I do not remember the name of the dish. I did add photos, it was One of my faves. The wait staff were very attentive, efficient, knowledgeable of the dishes and very friendly. We ended up talking some home with us but we're not sorry about ordering too much. This is definitely the place to go for a wonderful brunch! You can't go wrong here. Great experience from entry to exit! Next time is the Dinner experience. Definitely marking Andinas as a place to experience over and over again. Thank you,

Im not too sure I can add anything which others havent already said about Andina, however, this was an incredible dining experience!! My daughter and 1 just checked into our hotel and this was just a quick 10 minute walk. It was a Tuesday night and we didnt have a reservation, however, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated in the dining area by the bar. Really cool vibe and lighting inside and was lively, however, not overly loud so you could easily have a conversation. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful explaining the menu as we had some questions. The first item we ordered was off the drink menu...TÚPAC TOPOTOPO which is a freeland forest gin, housemade gooseberry syrup, rosemary, lillet blanc, verjus blanc. Absolutely delicious and refreshing balanced flavor and on the sweeter side. Next up was PAPA A LA HUANCAINA which are crispy ozette fingerlings, huancaina sauce, olives, chives, cured egg yolk. Ideal to share and so much flavor! Before our main course arrived and since we had such a great experience with the first cocktail we also tried the SACSAYHUAMÁN which is habanero vodka, passion fruit, cane sugar, sugar rim. While we thoroughly enjoyed the first drink this was easily our favorite. Not too spicy but the spice is definitely present, however, its nicely balanced out with a pleasant sweet and sour element. Highly recommend! Finally our main course was the MILANESA DE CERDO CON TALLARINES which is a pork cutlet, dried tomatoes, botijia olives, ricotta huancaina peruvian pesto, linguine. As with everything else this has such great balance of flavor and nice little pops of brininess from the olives. We should have stopped here, however, the dessert menu beckoned and we couldnt ignore the decadent Peruvian chocolate mousse. First, its a generous portion which could easily feed three, but this dessert is seriously amazing! Lots of rich chocolate flavor, coffee brownie and a layer of tartness which helps cut through the richness. I cant recommend this restaurant enough. It deserves all its accolades and I hope 1 can make another visit before we head back home.

Andinas was great. Highly recommend the lomo, empanadas and fried chicken. The pork was ok, but basically it's a schnitzl. The octopus and papa's were fantastic, if a bit spendy. Loved the live band. We were right next to them and still managed a conversation, but I would have chosen a table farther away if they had told me abspeedy. The only real issue was that the cooking hoods didnt seem to be working much at all. The whole kitchen looked like a campfire and we went home smelling like one too. I think they need to clean their filters as I was really feeling for their cooks.
