I was having trouble getting a hold of customer service via the app and she made it right. She went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer and human. I can not say enough about the experince. Though the Hood River safeway staff has cease to amaze me with long standing people like Tanner. I was and am highly grateful.

I’ve always been thankful for the great customer service anytime I’ve had an issue. Today, I called corporate customer service for a complicated request, and when they couldn’t handle it, they transferred me to the Hood River store. I was so grateful for Kiffie in customer service for graciously listening to the situation and helping me solve it right away.

We had a wedding nearby in September 2025 and the manager Erin & Yessica in bakery were so helpful with cake and other deliveries. Not very often people go out of their way to help others, but it is certainly appreciated especially on a high stress day.
