    have truly never gotten a correct order at this mcdonald’s location. McDonalds prices have gone up significantly and to be getting an incorrect order every time is extremely frustrating.

    After showing our phone to collect points using the QR code, the nighttime drive thru staff was extremely confused that we wanted to tap our phone to pay for our meal. "How would you like to pay?" "Paying with phone." "The code doesn't pay, you still need to pay." "Yes, we want to tap our phone to pay." "No no, the code doesn't pay, it's just points. You still need to pay." "We want to pay with our phone, just pass us the machine so we can tap." "I scanned your phone, it's just points. You need to pay." They repeated this several times, refusing to just hold the machine out to accept tap. The food was fine.

    What a night, arrived at this location, no more then 3 minutes, this place cost me $1000+. Parked the vehicle and went inside to order, turned around and saw someone hovering over my rear trunk. Quickly went outside to stop the individual but it was too late. When confronting the person turns out that person was saying come near me I'll stab you. Call the police immediately. Now I am stuck with a bill. This is the last time we will ever go this this location. The mentally ill person was never caught, please be aware of your surrounding at this location.

    I am providing a 2-star rating for the McDonald's at Bayview and Major Mackenzie due to a critical public safety issue involving the drive-thru. During a regular weekend just before noon, the line was so busy that it blocked traffic traveling on Old Markham Road from both east and west, and intermittently stalled one lane of Northbound traffic on Bayview Avenue as vehicles jammed the access points. This severe obstruction of municipal roadways violates the spirit of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act's rules on clearing intersections and likely breaches City of Richmond Hill bylaws concerning street obstruction and commercial site plans. Management and property owner needs an immediate intervention to prevent this recurring hazard. Despite the chaos outside, the in-restaurant staff provided excellent service. Crew member Blenda was exceptional: she efficiently captured my simple cheeseburger order for my daughter and actively followed up on its progress. When the order terminal experienced technical difficulties, Blenda immediately sought help. I was, however, shocked by the non-response from the person identified as the soon-to-be manager, Zoe, who seemed completely detached, offering no reaction or verbal communication even when Blenda attempted to gently gain her attention. This felt disturbingly robotic. Thankfully, Blenda quickly secured a kind young gentleman to assist. This experience perfectly captured the dichotomy: dedicated service staff like Blenda trying hard, contrasted with a management culture that feels dangerously automated and unresponsive to human issues, whether they are technical or related to traffic.
