More and more, these places are losing all their customer service skills. The people they are hiring just don't care at all. Don't brother trying to call the number to speak to a manager, they have a number that doesn't work. They can't be bothered to check the bag before they hand it to you to see if there are straws or dipping sauce. They charge so much for fast food and they give zero care to what they are doing. It sucks because McDonald's used to be cheap and quick dining with decent customer service, not anymore.

"Just tried this spot for the first time and it totally hit the mark! đ Dine-in was top-notch, super peaceful vibe, and huge plus - it's right next to Costco đď¸. This place has seriously transformed over the years. If you're nostalgic for the old days (like the dancing horse era đ´), you'll be surprised - they're serving up big wins now! Highly recommend! đ"

Really disappointed in the lack of front facing staff/customer service. After waiting 25 minutes we still don't have all out food. About five minutes ago food was brought over with fries missing from a happy meal and the happy meal sandwich being not properly cooked and mostly melted to the paper so it's inedible. I'd be pretty patient if anyone would talk to us, my husband tried getting the attention of someone to help get our child's meal but the staff literally turned around and ran away when he got their attention.
Update after 25 minutes the happy meal sandwich came. We are still missing a straw and the staff that brought us the rest of the food ran away before we could ask.

Avoid this McDonaldâs location at all costs. Iâve never experienced such an infuriating mix of disorganization, false promises, and complete disregard for customers. I ordered ahead specifically to save time with curbside pickup, only to arrive and find every curbside spot (only 2) filled with cars that clearly werenât picking up orders. Not one employee monitored or enforced those spaces, making the entire service pointless.
What followed was 32 minutes of waiting with three hungry kids in the back seat, 32 minutes for an order that was supposed to be ready when I arrived. I even called the store, and they casually told me it would be out âshortly,â which turned out to mean nothing. When someone finally came out, they handed me a single apple pie as if that would magically fix the situation or calm down hungry children who had been waiting half an hour.
Then came the final insult, the food was cold, and my childâs grilled cheese sandwich was literally rock hard. If this is the standard they find acceptable, it explains a lot.
I understand that restaurants get busy, but this wasnât a âbusy nightâ issue. This was a complete failure of basic operations. Why offer curbside pickup if you canât manage it? Why pretend to meet service standards by pushing drive-thru customers into reserved spots just so your metrics look good? The priorities here are clearly not on serving customers.
Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else, literally anywhere. The Simcoe & Taunton or Harmony & Taunton locations are miles better. This location needs a serious wake-up call.
