I recently visited this McDonald’s and had the spicy veggie burger and the McChicken burger, and both were great and satisfying. I also had the Oreo McFlurry, which I absolutely love, a perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, a consistent and enjoyable experience as always.

Started me New Year’s Day just terrible. Take me 20 mins to get served this morning at 9:30 am ,. Waiting at the front counter , l truly thought l was totally invisible, to the two black young girls taking care of the front . They just went on with what they were doing, at times looking right at me., not even I WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU , or anything like that , so after around 20 minutes, l just ask aloud for the manager, an he took my order. To the two girls , if you don’t want to be there , stop working there ! and make a lot of customers lives easier!

Some of the staff have been polite and I thank those young individuals. Management is a complete hack - no customer service, no respect, don’t even know how to use their own computers, and don’t know how to keep standards. It not the young staff who are having possibly a first or second job, it’s the management that needs to set the standards and the management here is a joke.
If they tell you they cannot enter your points code - it’s a scam, probably collecting points for themselves, which I’m all for when you don’t actually collect points, but to cheat customers who do collect points is disgraceful - if I could tell you the number of times this happened. They don’t even ask if you collect points, have to tell them and they tell you the code in invalid. They say they’ll take ur order and fix it at the window, and then tell you they can’t at the window. The one time everything I ordered was on deal and/or points redemption and I told them I’d leave because I’m not paying double if they couldn’t apply it - suddenly they were able to figure it out.

I ordered 2 junior chicken and 2 baked apple pies- had to wait 15 mins - just took a sneak peak- all the crew members were working really fast and efficient to make sure the delivery orders and others are being made and delivered on time. Alas, I received cold burgers as they made the apple pies late which I received fresh burning hot. I couldn't enjoy much. They should have put the pies first to be ready and then the burgers so that I could enjoy my McValue Meal.
But yeah - they all were diligently working like a good team should.

This location is newer so I’ve given them a lot of time and many chances before I wrote this review. Probably too many. Food is McDonald’s standard but is never warm even when it’s busy at prime times (ie cold fries). The drive thru service is always an issue. It’s super slow even when it’s not busy. You often don’t get the right order or are missing something. It’s consistent with these issues and the front line staff don’t seem to care. We frequently go to the McDonald’s in Whitby, Ajax and other Oshawa locations and never have these issues. Management and employees needs better training. This location is closest to my home but I’ll be going to a further location from now on because it’s frustrating every time we go here.
