If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never, ever left a bad review. But today? Absolutely garbage experience - I am not exaggerating when I say it's almost laughable.
1) This location has 2 drive thru speakers - I sat at my speaker for 8 minutes while they continued to only take orders at the other speaker.
2) When they finally responded to my speaker, they informed me that, "if I'm going to order off of the lunch menu, it will be a 10 to 15 minute wait." At 11:10am.
3) I asked for a vanilla frappe, "sorry we don't have it." Coffee frappe? "Sorry, we don't have it." Vanilla sugar free iced coffee? "Sorry..."
I don't blame the girl that was taking orders, she was actually very nice. I blame poor management or bad ownership. I have never been to this location, and reasonably, will not be back to this location.

I recently visited the McDonald's location at 970 Upper Wentworth St, Hamilton, ON L9A 4V8, which is conveniently located just a minute's walk from my workplace at Limeridge Mall. After a long night shift, I was looking forward to grabbing a bite to eat around 12:30 AM. Then locked their restaurant before the closing time However, when I tried to order through the drive-thru, I was disappointed to be turned away by the staff, who claimed that they couldn't serve me because I didn't have a car. I found this response to be unreasonable, especially considering that I was willing to pay in advance. I've had better experiences at other fast-food chains, such as A&W and Tim Horton's, where I've been able to order through the drive-thru on foot without any issues.

Great location. Im very impressed and heart warmed by the "Free For All" Fridays program! Staff member Hilary is a very special and priceless employee! McDonald's is lucky to have her! :)

i went through the drive through with my mother, and the woman that was taking my mom’s order was just rushing us and didnt even ask if we wanted anything else after ordering ONE thing. it was so unprofessional and she was even tapping her fingers on the counter when my mom could grab a 10 dollar bill out of her wallet in time. didnt even apologize. worse customer service i have EVER received in my life. this is what happened: worker- ‘what can i get for you’ my mom- ‘hi, can i please get an orange pekeo double double medium?’ worker- ‘first window.’ we were confused but did it anyways because, you know, why shouldnt we listen to a literal person that works there? then when my mom started driving up to the first window she was talking to me, but the worker overheard it. worker- ‘is there anything else you wanted?’ my mom had to BACK UP thats how far we drove up before she asked if we wanted something else. my mom- ‘oh yes, could i please get a double double’ worker- ‘a double double? i thought you wanted an orange pekoe.’ my mom- ‘yes, a small double double and an orange pekeo double double’ she has short square light brown nails. AND THE ORDER WASNT EVEN CORRECT. i asked for ONE medium orange pekoe double double and ONE small double double. she gave us 2 double doubles in a size medium and small. worse service ive ever seen and received and she should be fired.
edit: she didnt even give us the right ORDER. the order on the cups have 2 different numbers.

My wife went through the drive thru today for the family and had to wait nearly 30 mins to get the food. When it arrived it was cold and the order was completely wrong. No cheese on the quarter pounder with cheese. My wife who has a wheat allergy orders a quarter pounder no bun and it came plain with no toppings. Missed a large fry on the order. When she finally caught the attention of an employee all they did was run the cold food back in and slap some cold cheese and toppings on. Her burger was burnt and stale! McDonald's is one of those things that should be hard to screw up like this and we pay serious money now for a family of four. This location is horrible and the staff simply don't care about good customer service!
