  The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with lots of booths and big tables that worked well for our family. The staff were friendly and checked in enough without hovering, which made it feel relaxed. Rahul and the team were very helpful with us and the kids. We ordered the chicken pasta and two kids meals. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for Italian‑American comfort food, a kid‑friendly environment, and convenient hours close to RBG. Not fine dining, but perfect for a low‑stress post‑garden meal. Royal Botanical Gardens with the kids, and it was a great, easy dinner option.

  Had an enjoyable dinner here last night. We ordered patsa alfredo, and chicken parmigiana from the new 'Seniors Menu', and they were delicious and well-portioned. Our server, Jackie S., was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend the 'Seniors Menu' for the reduced portion size. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

  We came in today without reservations with a large party comprised of five adults and nine kids, and the staff got us the table together quickly. Melissa greeted us quite promptly and was friendly, patient, and present throughout the entire meal. The food was good overall, as advertised and served at the appropriate temperature and so on. Anything we needed, Melissa was responsive and prompt, serving to make a nice lunch experience into a great one. Would definitely return!

  I have been to many East Side locations, and this one is not only the best run, but also the cleanest. The manager Rahul was a consummate professional. When we arrived the staff were very busy. He took it upon himself to not only seat us, but take our order, AND deliver our food. He topped all of our mains and even brought us three refills of bread without hesitation. Finally, he spent time playing out our 1 year old son who was having his very first ESM’s experience. As I business owner, I am so impressed when I see colleagues work as a team. Today was a fantastic example of what can be done. Not to mention the food was stellar. I had the chicken parm and my wife had the sausage & penne. The portions were generous and the flavours were spot on. If you are looking for a low maintenance local spot for your family where your money feels valued, this is it. Great work team!

  This location has gone down the tubes when it comes to food quality! East sides years ago was always good. The winston churchill location was always great and when Mapleview mall had EastSides it was awesome. But this location is awful. Soup , pasta, chicken all arrived barely warm. Pasta was mushy overcooked. Chicken was burnt, charred...horrible... Salad and bread was the only good thing! Sadly disappointed 😞. Will never return to another east side Mario's again. Olive Garden is returning and hope they take all your business.
