Placed an order online and only received 2 out of the three packages we were to receive. Called the store and they were not willing to send the missing item to us instead asking us to go our of our way to pick it up at the restaurant with zero compensation offered.
Normally we have good service but this is entirely unacceptable. Now we have to wait gor a manager to call back tomorrow morning.
Im totally amazed that there is no one there to make a call to send the missing order our way.
In today's economy, when we work hard for our money and decide to spend it at a "trusted" restaurant, this is 100% a let down.
Shame on you East Side Marios!

Came in tonight with some family to enjoy some all you can eat salad and bread (which I haven't had since pre-pandemic). Upon arriving, we had previously booked a reservation, to which our surprise was not in their system. We fortunately didn't wait long for a table and were seated a few moments later.
While my boyfriend and I were waiting for the rest of our family, Rahul had approached us, but did not offer us any refreshments while we waited for the rest of our family to arrive. Once they did arrive, we did not get service from Rahul for another 20 minutes (until I waved him down). He then mumbled something prior to getting our food and drink orders. ** FYI it was roughly a 40 minute wait to even get service.**
Our food and drinks were fine, along with the salad and bread, but in order for this to be a five-star service, the salads and bread should be coming in on rotation (this is how it used to be). We had to ask multiple times for another salad and more bread; it almost felt as if they didn't want us to have the "all you can eat" experience.
Near the end, Rahul gave us review cards and mentioned that he has a quota of 6 5-star reviews per month and urged our party of 6 to write reviews. At first, we were okay with doing it, but upon reading other reviews, he did circle around our table multiple times, trying to crack jokes around these reviews: "did you write a review? you get a takeout box..haha kidding!". After the third time, it got very uncomfortable because it seemed as if they were trying way too hard all of a sudden for a good review. A family member in our group gave a four-star review as we agreed that a five-star review would have been exceptional service (i.e., unlimited salad/bread replacements once our table is empty, drink refills, etc.) and Rahul came back after paying saying, "are you [name], why did you only give us 4 stars?" making them feel bad and almost obligated to give a better review.
Not worth revisiting.

I recently dined at East Side Mario’s in Burlington and had a great overall experience. The food was well prepared and hit the spot — I ordered a pizza along with a fresh salad, and everything tasted exactly as it should: hot, flavourful, and well presented. My girlfriend also had a pizza, as well as the tomato soup, which she really enjoyed and said was rich and comforting.
What truly stood out, though, was the service. The manager, Rahul, was excellent — professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure everything was running smoothly and checked in at the right moments without being overbearing. It’s clear he takes pride in providing a positive guest experience.
Between the quality of the food and the outstanding service, this visit was a very pleasant one. I would definitely recommend this location and look forward to coming back again.
My experience at East Side Mario’s was by far the worst I’ve ever had at any restaurant location.
We were there with a group of friends and children during a New Year’s celebration. My wife picked up a bag of balloons as part of the celebration, genuinely unaware that it was not allowed. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, the owner, Arren, approached our table in front of everyone and aggressively questioned my wife in a very rude, unprofessional, and embarrassing manner. There was no courtesy, no discretion, and no attempt to handle the situation respectfully.
The situation escalated even further when another guest at a nearby table began shouting at the children, threatening them by saying he would “call the police” and calling them names. This was shocking and completely unacceptable. When one of our friends calmly asked the man not to speak to the kids that way, the situation only got worse.
Instead of protecting families and children, the staff and the owner took the wrong side. We were threatened with security and told we would be kicked out, while staff members began shouting at us. At no point did management attempt to de-escalate the situation or act professionally.
What made this experience even more disturbing was the clear lack of respect and fairness shown toward us. The behavior we experienced felt discriminatory and deeply offensive. This location shows a complete lack of hospitality, customer service skills, and basic human decency.
I strongly encourage head office and senior management to step in and provide serious training in customer service, conflict resolution, and professionalism. This location does not reflect the values of a family-friendly restaurant.
I will never return to this location and do not recommend it to anyone, especially families.
