If the kitchen is the soul of a restaurant, this one is in visible distress. The washroom, meanwhile, is less a facility and more a warning. Filthy, neglected, and possessed of a look that suggests it has been studiously avoided by any cleaning staff for some time. This is not fast food; it is fast regret. A thorough cleaning and a stern conversation with management would be an excellent place to start.

It’s just coffee, so it’s not that serious—but at the same time, it is just coffee, and it shouldn’t be difficult to get right. Often the coffee isn’t stirred properly, and if you’re already driving, it’s not easy (or safe) to fix that yourself. We don’t have complicated orders either—usually just a standard double double. Consistency would really make a big difference here. The staff is typically friendly and warm.
