Service was terrible, the place was almost empty of workers and customers. Food was correct order but everything looked and tasted burnt. Ordered the firecracker chicken with white rice and some wontons. Wontons were burnt inside and out, and the hot wontons were laid on top of sweet chili packets. Firecracker chicken tasted like charcoal and had a dull burnt taste overall.

We went to a new location to us and it is the worst service we have ever had. If we were first timers, we would never go back to a Pei Wei. After about 5 minutes, 4 of us got our food and they said they would be right out with our Nana's Pad Thai. 21 minutes later they finally brought her food. We were 1 of 4 families in the restaurant. The other 3 families had 2 members each. That's to say, it definitely wasn't busy. But we watched the manager and the cook stand behind the counter and talk to a friend instead of working to finish our meals. We try to give grace but they simply weren't doing their jobs. We asked the cashier to speak with a manager, he went to his manager and the guy looked at us, said something and then disappeared. Nothing was ever said. We definitely won't be back to this location. 15 minutes later the manager - Justin - came over and said this store is understaffed and they don't know how to run things that's why he was here. When we asked about him talking to his friend for 10 minutes, he back pedaled and blamed his young worker who was the cashier. Justin is not the manager for this store, he is just here to help. Unfortunately that's a sad situation because as a manager he threw his employees under the bus and never even apologized for anything that happened. A simple I'm sorry could have resolved so much......
