Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DMDavi Martinez3 days ago2.0this really sucks to make but i told myself i’d make this review if one more thing went wrong. The customer service employees almost always feel short and impatient other than Bennie, they have gotten my order wrong multiple times, the wait time is atrocious, i’ve been served a raw burger, the lobby is never clean, i’ve waited 10mins for a remake of something they already got wrong. it’s just not a good place to eat half the time, everyone is always too in a rush to make sure anything is accurate.

- RRRonMar 9, 20265.0Was pretty hungry at lunch and ordered here, I used the app and they ended up taking over 10 minutes past the latest pickup up time, I called them said it would be out, waited it didnt come out I had to get back to work. I called them after work and asked if I could pick up my meal and the remade the entire meal for me and I got refunded for the meal. They really do everything they can to do it right and make up for it when the fail to do so. I was upset but they made up for it, thank you whataburger altus team 👍

I shouldn't have to wait 15 or 20 minutes for other people to order just to pick up my order that I ordered 20 minutes earlier. So while my food was getting cold had to just stand there and wait even though it was already done. 10 employees and nobody can come to the counter and ask if you're there to pick up an order.
