While the food was good I've had better at a lower price point from other local hometown places. First time being here. We walked in and immediately you had that flash back of simpler times or in some aspects it felt like the dinner scene in every movie I've ever seen. Not that was a bad thing. The staff was friendly and welcoming no problems there. The food was good. Nothing stood out and made me want to buy dessert but then again we were never asked if we wanted any anyway. Shelled out about $105 for lunch for a family of 4 with the tip. Everywhere I go I have to try the Chile. It was okay but more of a tomato taste than anything. A cup ran just under $7. I tried the grilled bacon chicken wrap. I don't believe it came with sauce on it? I think that was $11 or $12 by itself. No fries or anything included. I really miss the days when fries were included but slap on another $4.29 for fries? So you near almost $20 with fries and a drink per person with whatever main item you want. While the staff was good, the food was decent, the prices were higher. Next time I'd do take out to save some money for sure!
