- JDJackie DickinsonOct 29, 20255.0The NY Butcher shop has been my favorite addition to downtown Montgomery! Its setup is really nice but the food is really the best part. We have had the premade fresh and frozen meals and not only is it affordable ( $16-$25 to feed 3 or 4 people), it’s also super tasty. Add a side salad and it’s cheaper than any uber eats or delivery. I’ve had the blackened chicken pasta, the Shepard’s pie, the mushroom risotto, and the Caesar salad (all really flavorful). Sorry I haven’t taken any pictures! Definitely putting it on my rotation for weekly meals!

The salmon salad was in edible. It was old and it had a horrible flavor to it, we did not do the lobster salad either. The chicken salad was OK. The egg salad wasn’t flavorful I wanna give it a second chance, but It’s pricey to do so. I’m a devout Avril’s, Holtzman, leheres meats Person I will go wherever the great stuff is. I don’t mind spending the money, but I do mind spending it for stuff. That’s just not great. I hope they figure it out. It’s a great location.
