  Great food and atmosphere. The interior was beautiful. But, front desk service was pretty bad. They didn't properly greet us coming in nor leaving. I was very disappointed. Food service was decent but they did not take good care of our table. They need to work on service. Will not recommend to others merely based on service alone. It's a restaurant and good service is highly expected. I've seen better service at a fast food place. Even if you can't control the quality of the food you can control the quality of the service. Unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber.

  We had reservations for lunch. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our server provided us with water but did not bring us a drink my wife ordered (except she remembered when we were paying our bill and gave it to my wife in a to-go cup - which wasn’t the purpose of ordering a drink while eating). We never got the bread. We received our entree order (brought out by someone else) but no utensil to serve the food. Nobody picked up the menus when we got our food and we had to ask someone to take them off the table so we had space to move the plates. Nobody came to pick up empty plates until the end of our meal. Our server seemed busy and only came in the beginning to give water and take our order and at the end when plates needed picked up and bill. She stopped once in between to see if we needed anything else but had forgotten about the above items and at that point we were almost done eating and didn’t bother to ask. We had some leftovers in a plate and when the server picked up all the dishes she took the food plate as well and we almost assumed she was going to throw it out (as she put all the dishes together with the plate with food on top) and then went to another table to wait on. Probably not sanitary either to mix our food with other plates? But then she brought it back packaged when she brought our bill. The food was on the saltier side and wasn’t as enjoyable as previous encounters. We don’t feel we had a Cameron Mitchell experience and it definitely wasn’t worth what we paid. Doubt we’d come back again.

  Very good experience at Valentina’s with family. Beautiful interior decor and excellent service staff. Our host, Thomas was a fine gentleman who not only took care of our choices but also guided us to order right food. These 5 stars are for Thomas

  “Renascimentho” is wrong. The pizza oven room has a cool wall sign in -- almost -- Italian. It reads, “RENASCIMENTHO” and it refers to Firenze, Tuscany, Italy. Which is -- — Spanish, not Italian, — Mispelled in Spanish You want it to be Italian ? Then it should start “Rina…”. Notice the “i”. It should read Rinascimento. No “h”. Keep cooking good food ! ...... From a statement in late 2023 by David Miller, a senior executive at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. He wants it to have an ITALIAN cultural reference. — Begin Quote — “We want everyone who enters Valentina’s to feel as if they are visiting a quaint countryside home IN ITALY,” said David Miller, president of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. “This concept holds a special place in our hearts, bringing back fond memories of our 25th anniversary trip.” — End Quote —

  1st time visit while driving from Nashville, TN to Fairlawn, OH. Absolutely awesome! I will return whenever I travel through Columbus. The Minestrone and Sunday’s special - the fresh made Mafalde with Meatball were outstanding. The meatball was so tender and juicy on the inside. The server and the staff overall are exceptionally tuned to exceeding customer expectations. Great location with free indoor parking a block away. Can’t wait to try some other options that caught my eye, like the mozzarella bar, the linguine with clams, the braised veal pappardelle and the swordfish. The staff mentioned the desserts are made in house and Tiramisu is a perpetual favorite. Molte Grazie! 🇮🇹
