I've been to a few Cameron Mitchell restaurants and I've always known them to have a great reputation for hospitality, but that is not what I witnessed or experienced last night. I don’t normally write reviews but this was one I felt like was necessary
I was at The Avenue in Dublin and they were incredibly busy with a line forming at the door before 6, I assume most people were trying to get sat before happy hour was over. We were patient and waited. We see a hard working hostess doing her best but then came another black haired girl with a noticeably terrible attitude. We watched her as she called up the parties before us until we were up. Well, nothing seemed to have changed and we were greeted with her bad attitude. We spoke when we sat down how stark the difference was between the first hostess, who was hospitable and caring, and the second hostess that we had. We're not sure if we're going to return after this experience
Is this what Cameron Mitchell hospitality is all about now? Bothered and angry? We were just glad we got our table and didn't have to deal with her for the rest of the night
