Very BUSY location on a Sunday or Saturday morning. Great food, I went for the breakfast burrito and was excited at the presentation. Normal Pancakes were not on the menu and not excited about the Blueberry Pancake Fritters that looked like raindeer turds. They were delicious but visually unappealing. I like the 50s/60s visuals and comfortable seating but it does not match the surrounding areas. PRICES are not matching the Old school theme and they should Toss the booth seats and go modern for less cramped feel.

Sat at the bar for a late lunch and the bartender was engaging and entertaining. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. It could have used more celery and blue cheese crumbles but it was tasty. There were some real rowdy and loud people at the bar, seems they were having a good time, but a tad obnoxious. Didn't care of the chocolate mouse/cream cake. Would not get that again. I've had their desserts and they are usually very good, but this was a big miss. Oh, the 614 Cosmo was excellent!

We love the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants in general, but this Cap City Diner in Dublin has really ruined it for us. This is the third (and final) visit where we have been treated like garbage. On these visits we did not have reservations, but went early dinner where the diner was mostly empty. After getting glared at by the hostesses (all 3 of them), and standing for minutes while they figured out where they could hide us, we were seated in the very back patio section by the cold door (last visit it was very hot, so it was on the hot patio). Passing about 30 empty tables/booths. The service was incredibly slow. Last visit it took 22 minutes to get drinks (water, tea, and sodas). The waiter was nice but priority was the group of 20+ drinking party beside us. The food has been disappointing- it was really fantastic the first 5-10 visits, but the last 2 were so greasy and tasteless, we didn't finish or take leftovers. Last visit we left hungry. I'm not sure if this is a new tactic, to treat customers like they are dirt, but I don't like it. We've eaten at upscale restaurants all over the world, and have never been treated like this. I swear, we didn't smell, our 11 and 13 year olds were perfectly behaved. We were not dressed up (OSU hoodies), but it was late lunch at a diner! Update your dress code if you are that concerned about your customers not wearing chic designer, or if kids are not welcome. Teach your host/hostesses to smile, even if you're busy and don't have room for walkins, that makes all the difference! Be polite. Rude is for New York.

What a disappointment. I specifically reserved a table for medical reasons only to arrive and be told that they had a booth ready, but not a table because a party was already seated at the only table that holds large parties and that it would be a “long time” before a table was ready. I said it’s pointless to make a reservation I guess and she said no, but then immediately started helping other guests. Another hostess then said let me see what I can do and shortly anfter opened a table at the entrance where it was freezing. I was greeted with a dirty look by the original hostess as we walked by to be seated. After we were seated more disappointment came when after a long wait two orders were wrong. The server was great, but I will never go back. I am not one to complain or leave reviews but this is unacceptable for the amount of money spent. I regret choosing this establishment to celebrate an important birthday.

I’ve been twice - the second time more than a year after the first, and the experience was equally unimpressive. The food is mediocre at best (which they try to make up for with huge portions) and the service was categorically terrible. It’s loud, and they promised to heat the patio for us, but didn’t. We froze. Both times it took a half hour to get an order in, 45 minutes to get a drink, and over half an hour to get a check.
Our table of 8 unanimously decided to never go back again.
