Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern
Completely unacceptable for the price. We spent about $80, and the food quality was awful for what we paid. The fish sandwich came with brown, wilted lettuce, which never should have been served. The garlic bread was burnt, and cheese was put on the burgers even after clearly requesting no cheese—a basic instruction that was ignored.
The only things that were even remotely okay were the Philly cheesesteak and the fries, and even those weren’t anything special. For these prices, I expected far better quality and attention to detail. This place is massively overpriced and not worth the money.

The bar itself is nice server was great however the fish and chips were disappointing. The tarter sauce had next to no relish in it making it almost straight mayo (though tasted more like miracle whip ) the coleslaw was inedible.. the fish tasted good on its own though wasn't large itself. It's not a bad place but definitely not a place I'd recommend for it's food.

We stopped for lunch and ordered a Reuben Sandwich ($16.29) and the Wednesday Special, a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich ($15.99). The Reuben was filled with lean brisket, Swiss and kraut and came with a nice side of fries. The Tenderloin was not the paper thin fair version but probably 3/8” thick and twice the size of the bun. It was tender and juicy and very delicious! The Tenderloin also came with side of fries. Taylor M. was attentive and checked on us a couple of times.

This was my second time trying this place in years. And I have to say the food was great. It was hot, it was seasoned . Tasted great! But the customer service is awful. I go to pick up my online order and no one is there to greet me. So I stand there waiting for a few minutes and two ladies come to the greeting station. But they do not acknowledge me, so I walk to the bar. There a nice young lady greeted me and helped me.

Food is great! Nice atmosphere. The service is nice and friendly and on top of everything. There is one that you HAVE to change. I understand the hand held devices are easier for order taking and paying with a card. Someone who pays with cash, like myself, it creates an awkward and uncomfortable situation. I use cash for all dinners, no matter size or cost. I do not like to use a card for that kind of purchase. Now this has happened to me on multiple occasions. At the end of the meal, the waiter/waitress explains that you can pay using a card with the hand held. I say that will pay with cash. The response is always a friendly “no problem”. They then show me the total on the hand held and then stand there………..and wait. They seem uncomfortable standing there and it’s a little awkward having the person pull out their money in front of them to pay this bill. This has nothing to do with tipping, that’s not the issue. It’s just an awkward situation that just shouldn’t happen. I don’t understand if someone says they are paying with cash, the waiter/waitress shows them the total and says I will be back in just a few minutes. They can make up some excuse. Clean the table and come back, check on another table and return. Anything is better than just standing there while you are pulling out your money to pay the bill. They look uncomfortable and from a customer standpoint it is VERY uncomfortable and awkward. PLEASE CHANGE THIS PROCEDURE.
