- MDMel DKDec 15, 20253.0Dewey's has always been our favorite pizza, at least in the restaurant, but the last 2 times we DoorDashed, there've been isues and they had nothing to do with the delivery person or the distance--we're used to it arriving cold, and plan accordingly. $30 for a 13"pizza is already crazy, but used to be worth it. Their crust used to be the BEST. But it was hard and ... cracker like and flavorless. And their Entree Peppercorn Ranch is usually awesome, again, despite being way overpriced for a salad. But twice now, they've forgotten the Peppercorn Ranch dressing. It's LITERALLY IN THE NAME. It's the best part of the salad and since I had NO dressing at all in my fridge, was especially frustrating. Very disappointing.

Called to see what the hold up was and apparently my ticket had fallen behind the counter or something and no one knew to bring the pizza out to me. I was mildly annoyed til an employee came out with the pizza, gave a sincere apology and handed me a gift card twice the value of my pizza! I was blown away by the customer service comeback moment. Every restaurant, even great ones make mistakes, I get it. But only great ones redeem themselves in those moments with top notch customer service. Thanks guys! I felt cared about!
