  When fine dining is brought to my attention I'll remember our time at Butcher and Rose. From the first hostess interaction to the final bite of our creme brulee we felt blessed. We sat at a high top near the entrance and still felt secluded. Not to mention our high top seats were super soft and comfortable. As I made my way to the bathrooms upstairs I wondered how the seniors who dine there feel about the climb. The bathrooms themselves were a 10/10, I loved the individual stalls and treats within. What an overall fulfilling experience for my wife and I. Thank you ❤️

  We visited 3Jan this was our daughter's birthday and 1st time as well as our son.My Husband and I have been before. The birthday girl had the most amazing time!!!She is literally planning a girls night out.Abby was our server..My husband and 1st visit we were seated upstairs romantic,quaint,nice.This time we were seated downstairs by the wine storage,there was a breeze that kept catching my shoulders, I shared with Abby she made it her business to accommodate us she offer me a shawl🫠but then was able to move us.The food was seasoned well as before, lamb chops👌🏼, and the carrot cake WOW!!!Definitely will be getting that again.We will for sure be returning. Thank you The Chamberlain's

  The food was decent and the staff were friendly. However, when our waiter brought us the machine to pay with our card, the tip amounts on the screen were not correct. They were approximately 2% higher than what they should have been. The listed 20% was actually 22%, etc. This is theft of customers who are already paying higher for a supposedly better than average dining experience. I shower our waiter the tip amounts were incorrect and he said the restaurant was "testing new algorithms and maybe it was a glitch." He told us this after the fact we had paid, thankfully with a custom tip. I will not be back.

  Delicious food, but that's where our good experience ended. It was a very special anniversary dinner for us, and we were seated at a terrible table that had continuous foot traffic next to us the entire dinner, which was 2.5 hours long due to continuous unexplained delays. I finally said something when it had been over an hour that we were waiting for our entree. We had to take our complimentary dessert to go. Until I complained, the attitude of the hosts and wait staff had been downright surly. We are not usually extra particular, and since it was a special occasion we were trying very hard to enjoy ourselves. It came close to ruining the evening. And at those prices, I don't feel like we deserved that. Another note: the loud dance music seemed out of place for the otherwise beautiful and sophisticated decor. It certainly did not lend itself to conversation.

  On December 26th, my mother and I had dinner there. The total bill was $228.96 (including tax). I selected the 20% tip option, and the total amount became $295.15. I questioned our server, Jennifer G, who apologized and said that a cake had been accidentally added to the bill. She said she had removed the cake charge and asked me to pay again, also giving me two more bills. I didn't carefully check the bills at the time because I felt her explanation was illogical, as the total amount was clearly $228.96, and there was no cake item on the bill. However, I didn't argue with her, thinking that it would be fine as long as she corrected it. So I simply clicked the 20% tip button again. The machine then showed a total of $275. But when I checked my credit card statement today, I found that I was actually charged $295.15. Afterward, I carefully examined all the receipts she gave me and discovered that she had given me an extra receipt for a takeout cake!! This is absolutely fraud!! Please be very careful when paying your bill. I've seen other customers reporting similar billing discrepancies. I don't understand how a restaurant that so blatantly deceives its customers can be so popular? In short, be wary of this restaurant! By the way, I just noticed that my credit card bill amount has changed to $278.15. Thank you! But still check the bill carefully is necessary there.
