  Service was great! The food, I was not a fan of at all. My steak was over done and the mashed potatoes had no flavor. The wedge salad was really good. Over all not worth my money. I left a bit sad for my birthday dinner.

  We made a spur of the moment decision to stop in fir dinner. They happily welcomed us even though we did not have a reservation. The food was phenomenal and our server Max provided a fantastic experience. There are some bad steakhouses in Cleveland, this is NOT one of them.

  My solo experience was amazing with the help of my server (Paradise). She was very attentive to everything I needed and had some great recommendations on food and drink items that I actually loved a lot. I would most definitely revisit Morton’s downtown.

  Food was ok but service be was terrible. Our initial server Amy immediately left a bad taste in our mouth with her demeanor. As she was taking our order my friend ordered fries in which she responded with a deep sigh which I’m not sure why it was needed. We were then told we were not allowed to have shrimp added onto a salad which has been done before in the past. We were also told our checks could not be split 5 ways only 3, which we have split it more ways before in the past. With all this said we spoke with Andy the manager who then told us the complete opposite of what our server said. We were allowed to add shrimp, we were able to split the check 5 different ways and was told it is only done for parties of 10 or more, and he switched our server to Danny, who was not much better. After telling him it was my birthday he just said ok and completely disregarded it which I took offense to. He lightweight seemed to have an attitude as well. After our dinner was over we met 2 servers Paradise and Max. After telling them it was birthday they asked was I offered a dessert and I told them no. So they brought us out a menu and let me choose which dessert I wanted. I was happy and lucky to have met them at the end of the night as they made the experience better with there personality’s and kindness. If it were not for them I would not have enjoyed my birthday dinner. For me to choose this restaurant for my birthday, a very special day for me, spend the amount that we did and ended up being treated the way we were in such a “high class establishment” makes me never want to return. I’m not sure if other customers were treated this way but to have this experience in fine dining speaks volumes as a customer. Andy did what he could to make it right and for that I greatly appreciate him as well as Paradise and Max for cheering me up at the end of the night. However Amy and Danny I can not say the same.

  I was excited to try Mortons since I've never been there but had a very disappointing experience. Taking into consideration that it was Valentines Day and a Saturday night in downtown Cleveland, I was expecting it to be busy. Our server seemed rushed and too busy to ask simple things. For example, I ordered a glass of cabernet and wasn't even asked which size pour or which brand of cabernet i wanted. When we decided to order a bottle of wine he kept pushing one brand and was saying "what a great value" it was. When he opened the bottle of wine he poured it into my already used glass. Once we received our food, mine and my fiancé's steaks were grossly over-salted (and i like salt so I'm not sensitive to it). To the point we could not even eat them. I ordered my 12 oz. filet and my fiancé got the 22 oz bone-in ribeye both cooked medium-rare and there were medium, maybe even boarding medium-well. Our server never asked us how our food was once throughout our meal. I used the restroom and walked in to a very strong gust of Marijuana and to a woman "readjusting" her dress, standing there with the dress above her head, in her bra and panties. There were 2 other women hovering around the sink fixing their hair and make up with their make up bags sprawled about the counter. I understand that's not necessarily a Morton problem but speaks to my 1 star for atmosphere. Our table was front and center near the hostess stand and the kitchen. It was a tight, loud and uncomfortable space and we were basically sitting there with the other guests waiting on their table. This was certainly not an intimate atmosphere. When our server was present, he was forced to stand incredibly, uncomfortably close so that other staff were able to pass by him. At one point there were employees having a loud conversation directly behind my fiancé. Literally inches away which felt very unprofessional. I will say the hostesses were very pleasant and, once our entire party was present, we were seated quickly.
