DOUBLE CHECK YOUR CC STATEMENT FOR FRAUDULENT CHARGES!
I was charged an extra $31.22 on the bill, was told I was refunded last week and would take a few days to clear, still waiting.
Aside from the fraudulent charge: they ran out by 6:30pm of one of the specialty menu item that was available only on Christmas/New Years we had to have reservations for, floor under the table was disgusting and clearly not cleaned because the booth and long table cloth covered it up, ordered the steak medium for my partner and it came out raw, the "Espresso Martinis" were nothing more than cold coffee with vodka, and after we paid once, they had to comeback and tell us that they calculated the bill wrong and that they had canceled and reissued the bill. THEN, a week later I see my $300 bill, including the tip, turned into $331.22 in my credit statement.
I was excited to visit Morton’s Cleveland, especially after great experiences in Chicago, but unfortunately this visit was extremely disappointing.
We waited about an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived it was cold and not enjoyable. After sharing that with the staff, we waited about 30 more minutes before a manager (Andy) came over. His demeanor was dismissive and annoyed, and he used the presence of a large private party as an excuse for the service issues. I felt like our business didn’t matter, and I left without feeling properly acknowledged or accommodated.
On a positive note, our bartender Sierra was excellent attentive, kind, and professional but that alone did not make up for the slow service and cold food.
Given the issues with timing, food quality, and especially the management response, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
This was my husband’s and my first time dining at Morton’s Steakhouse in Cleveland, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The food was absolutely not worth the price, and the hype surrounding this place is definitely overrated.
I ordered the 12 oz filet, and my husband ordered the tomahawk steak. Both steaks came out burnt, which you can clearly see in the photo. For a high-end steakhouse, this was unacceptable.
We also ordered a Caesar salad, and it was honestly horrible. The smell alone was overwhelming—it reeked of fish. We couldn’t even eat it. Our waitress was kind enough to bring us a plain salad with dressing on the side, but sadly it still smelled and tasted like fish. It was obvious the dressing had way too many anchovies, making it completely inedible.
We attempted to order a loaded baked potato with no salt, but were told they couldn’t accommodate that request. Instead, we ordered onion rings, which arrived cold and tasted awful.
The only positive thing I can say is that the bread was good.
Overall, for first-timers, we were not impressed at all. With prices this high, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, this visit did not come anywhere close to “wow.”

Went for a birthday dinner. All of my food was lukewarm, and almost cold. Everything was very bland. Instant potatoes at a steak house! Our party was sat right by the cold door, when there wasn’t anyone else really in the restaurant (Sunday night). Only pro was my muletini was really good. Spent $20 on valet to leave it where I parked it (in the front), keep my keys, and walk back to where I parked it. I will never go back. Waste of $150. Don’t waste your time!

It was ok, but certainly not worth $100+/person. We all ordered something different and all agreed the food was average or subpar. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. There were only 4 of us, and 2 of the people couldn't hear any of the conversation. The waiter seemed rushed, overwhelmed, and overly concerned about re-folding our soiled napkins, and straightening our silverware. After 1.5 hours the waiter boxed our food and then offered the dessert menu. We asked about the chocolate cake and told us it would take 20 mins to bake.
