  Elijah Byrd is the best best best best. This young person handles customer service with the skill of a seasoned veteran, treats employees and coworkers with respect and dignity, and goes above and beyond in all ways. It’s always a pleasure to see Elijah in action and leadership.

  I have only given a poor review of a restaurant once - it has to be pretty bad for me to take the time. This is one of those times. I’m only giving it a two-star bc the staff was friendly and attentive. The place was cold - thermostat set at 66. We asked about it and they said they didn’t have the ability to turn it up (it was managed from afar). The women’s bathroom had a space heater hooked up to an extension cord that the door was shutting on so it had a tear in the casing. The food was tasteless - both the sub and the pizza. It was by far the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The draft beer was flat. We were told that they were having issues with their draft station - something was back ordered (CO2 I presume) so we were given bottles after realizing it was not drinkable. I am not sure how this place is still in business. The owner needs to step up and put some time and effort into it. Do not recommend.

  It’s almost winter and the thermostat is set to 66° and is freezing in the restaurant. Pizza and sub was bland, no flavor. Didn’t offer any parm or hot pepper flakes to add flavor. Won’t be back again. Staff were friendly, but this isn’t how to run a restaurant. Beer was also flat from not ordering CO2, same as the other restaurant he owns in town.

  We should have realized something was wrong when we showed up at 5:30 on a Sunday and there was litteraly not another soul there. Ordered breadsticks with cheese. What came out had the apperance, consistency, and quality of warmed hot dog buns with some cheese sprinkled on top. None of the garlicy cheesey goodness one typically associates with warm breadsticks. The marinara that came with them was the only truely good thing we experienced in the whole visit. My daughter ordered an Italian sub which was mediocre at best and had to order fries seperate. I ordered a veggie pizza. For a place naming itself after one culinary product, its pizza was terrible. Standard crust thin and flavorless. Almost no sauce. Plenty of toppings but instead of cut as pizza toppings they were sliced like one would.put on a sandwich. There was an overabundance of canned mushy mushrooms. If I had to say something nice about it I could only say there was an adequate amount of cheese. On top of all of this, the food was way overpriced. Especially for the quality. Service and atmosphere was fine, though did not feel overserved like I would expect being the only customers in the building. Do not recommend pizza cottage at all, and will not be returning ourselves.

  The extended wait times and insufficient staffing levels were notable. The pizza quality was unsatisfactory; specifically, the cheese on the half pepperoni, half cheese pizza detached from every slice, and the crust was unappetizing.
