They give you a little sample of lentil soup while you wait and next time, I would order some of that too. We had the kofta plate and it was delicious! The toum was fresh and balanced - nice garlicky taste without being overpowering. The rice has a little bit of lentils in it. The kofta is clearly mixed there with fresh parsley inside. We waited about 10 minutes because they made everything fresh. There's a small tv mounted playing Arabic music and some Egyptian art. Really homey place and friendly team. Thanks for a good meal and for being so friendly to me and baby.

The vegan plate was superb! I am a harsh critic of falafel but this was by far the best I’ve had. The plating was also gorgeous for such a hole in the wall restaurant. They gave us free pita bread and were so humble originally declining tips for 3 members of my party. Would highly recommend.
