Staff claimed it was their “policy,” yet no such policy is disclosed on their website or during the reservation process. Even more disappointing, we dined here last summer with our toddler without issue. For a restaurant of this reputation, turning guests away based on an undisclosed and inconsistently enforced rule is unacceptable. This was not hospitality — it was poor communication and worse execution.

The entire staff was kind and welcoming, we were greeted by a nice man at the door and at coat check and our server was attentive and professional. The decor is classic Ralph Lauren, elegant wooden moldings and polo motifs. The cocktail menu is fabulous, so many great martinis to choose from. The food is classic American fare, we ordered several dishes and everything was excellent. The steak was a quality cut and the burger is one of the best in the city, the biscuits and crab cake pair well together as starters. Save room for dessert, we opted for the chocolate cake and childcare brownie with sambuca. Nice spot for a date or a classy evening with friends and family. Hope to visit again soon.
