This is THE place for burritos in the city!
First and foremost, their chicken is fully halal, which you almost never find at any other authentic Mexican place. I have checked multiple times with them and they have confirmed. (Important: The beef / grilled steak isn’t halal just btw, and their breakfast burritos do have a bacon option which is obviously not halal also)
And the halal burritos slap as well! Get the bean and cheese with chicken, it’s seriously amazing. If you’re in the area and wanna try a good burrito (and especially if you eat halal and can’t find many options for good Mexican food), you’ve got to try this one. The price is very decent too, $13-14 for a chicken burrito is a steal in Manhattan for what you’re getting with this one. Just don’t plan for dining in as it’s a tiny joint that mostly does to-go and can get very busy at peak hours.

Actually the best burrito in New York because the toast/pan fry their burrito. Only carmine left location does this right. Not the same burrito at Orchard.

Really great food! The viral bean and cheese burrito was great and I rate it a 8/10, but if you want a real 10/10 experience, get the carne asada burrito instead!! And don’t forget the green salsa!! So good.
Oh, the jamaica and horchata agua frescas were delicious as well.

Lovely service. Burrito was pretty good but I wouldn’t necessarily wait on line for it. (The beans are vegetarian, a bonus!)

These are some really great burritos. No rice, very meaty, and just really satisfying. Without any fillers, each bite is massively flavorful and rich. It’s a different style and experience for sure, and this might not be everyone’s preference! That said the spices are excellent, the tortilla fantastic and fresh, and the salsa creamy, smokey, and spicy. All around, these are a delicious and hedonistic take on burritos - so flavorful and satiating! Not the restaurant is tiny, with almost no seating - your best options might be to eat fast or take them to go!
