We went to Skinos in Tribeca to celebrate our 3-month anniversary, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like we were celebrating three years.
This is not just a Greek restaurant. It’s a full experience.
Every detail was on point. The food was beautifully executed and absolutely delicious. Each dish felt intentional, balanced, and elevated. The drinks were crafted to perfection, creative, smooth, and memorable. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt average.
What truly sets Skinos apart is the atmosphere. The Middle Eastern dancers, the DJ, the energy of the room, it all comes together in a way that feels immersive and joyful without being overwhelming. You’re not just dining, you’re part of something happening around you.
The staff made us feel genuinely celebrated, not just acknowledged. They turned a simple anniversary dinner into a night we’ll always remember.
Skinos delivered on every level: food, drinks, music, ambiance, and service. An unforgettable night, and without a doubt, we’ll be back.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for more than dinner. This is an experience. If you go to Skinos make sure ask for George Goussis to serve you, he is absolutely amazing and will take your experience to a whole new level!

Had a fantastic experience here! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what really made the night special was our waiter, George. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. His recommendations were spot on and his positive attitude truly elevated the whole meal. Excellent service from start to finish—thanks, George! We’ll definitely be back.
A Mediterranean Floral Paradise in NYC!
If you’re looking for the most Instagrammable brunch spot in the city, Skinos is it. From the moment you walk under that gorgeous canopy of pink flowers, you feel like you’ve been transported to Mykonos. The interior is just as stunning moody lighting, more cherry blossoms, and a total 'main character' vibe. We ordered the French toast and the pancakes, and the presentation was 10/10. Definitely try the Sangria it’s as delicious as it is pretty. Perfect for a girls' brunch or a date night!

This experience was awesome! I took my girlfriend there for her 40th birthday. We went with the prefix menu, and the food was incredible – the drinks were made perfectly too. Our waitress, I can't remember her name unfortunately, was super warm and welcoming. She made sure all our needs were taken care of.
And the atmosphere? This place is SO nice! With all the beautiful flower decorations, it's like being in a garden up in the sky. We even got to watch a belly dancer, which was the icing on the cake.
We'll definitely be back!

I honestly don’t even know where to start because this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in NYC. Skinos was a complete disappointment from the second I walked in, and it somehow just kept getting worse.
First of all, the cleanliness (or lack of it) was horrifying. The place already felt grimy, but I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt because hey, it’s NYC. Big mistake. When my food finally came out, I found actual hair in it. Not like a tiny accidental strand either — it was obvious, noticeable, and completely ruined my appetite. I immediately lost all trust in whatever was going on in that kitchen.
And speaking of the kitchen… I’m not exaggerating when I say I saw rats. Yes, plural. In a restaurant. In 2025. That alone should be enough to shut the place down. If rats are comfortable enough to be visible, I can’t imagine what’s happening behind the scenes. It made me feel sick knowing I had already taken a few bites.
The service was absolutely awful on top of everything else. The staff acted annoyed that we were even there, barely checked on us, and when the hair issue was brought up, there was zero apology or urgency. No accountability, no concern, just attitude. It felt like they genuinely did not care about customer experience or basic health standards.
Overall, this place is a hard DO NOT GO. Between the unsanitary conditions, the rats, the hair in the food, and the horrible service, Skinos completely missed the mark. NYC has way too many amazing restaurants to waste your time (and money) on somewhere that clearly doesn’t care about cleanliness or customers. Save yourself the trauma and eat literally anywhere else.
