The waitress took our order then the bar tender behind the bar asked us three times if we ordered because he couldn’t establish communication with the waitress. Then another waitress was standing next to our table talking loudly with another customer to a point we couldn’t hear each other so we had to ask them to lower their voice. Soho sure, but seriously?

I just visited again this Christmas Eve with my parents, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Everything we ordered was insanely delicious — from the perfectly made coffee to the Aperol spritz, and especially the amazing princess cake, which never disappoints. The service, as always, was outstanding. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help and assist with a smile. It’s this consistency, quality, and warmth that keeps me coming back year after year. Without a doubt, Sant Ambroeus is one of the best coffee and gelateria spots in all of NYC.
