It is always slow but today my acai bowl took 30 minutes — and there were only two customers in the entire place with more than ten staff on duty. Their Bleecker Street location usually has a line and still manages to serve much faster. Here at Kenmare, there’s never a line — and I get why: you’d need to be on vacation to have that much time for an acai bowl. Hard to imagine that this Kenmare location can operate profitably at this pace. Also, Pura Vida, please stop serving acai bowls in plastic when people are dining in. For a “healthy” brand, using disposable plastic for indoor guests really misses the mark.
