Fantastic Italian restaurant. Very friendly & hospitable hosts of manager to service staffs. Great food: NY strip, Chicken Parm, Veal Marsala, Spaghetti Meatball all came out great. Tiramisu was excellent. Definitely worth the visit and will come by again.

Each time I’ve walked past since their re-opening it has appeared nearly packed, and seeing their reviews we were excited to try it out given there aren’t many other large restaurants in the neighbourhood.
However after visiting we are left pretty confused. We tried the dishes people most seem to rave about (Caesar, chicken parm, and lasagna) and overall the food was very average (honestly more likely below average for nyc). The Caesar salad was by far the best, but it’s not hard to do a good Caesar. The lasagna and chicken parm were both very lacking in flavour, and both featured a sort of soggy texture - overcooked noodles in the lasagna was probably a factor. The chicken in the parm was rough and tough and the crumb was soggy underneath a dousing of bland sauce and cheese. And for very average food, the prices were above average - the lasagna and chicken parm were both $40 each. Service seemed frantic - I appreciate it was very busy but it still took around 10 minutes of being seated just to get a menu and water. Given this, maybe they were understaffed for their demand that night and this had an effect on the quality of the food, but overall I wouldn’t come back.
